Myra Thomas ND
myra@spnc.com.au

Myra Thomas graduated from the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies with a Diploma of Applied Science (Naturopathy) in 1998 and has been practicing at South Perth Naturopathic Clinic since 2000. She is a lecturer in the field of complementary therapies at Central TAFE and has spent the last few years contributing to a fortnightly talk back segment on Radio 6PR with Gary Carvolth and Jenny Seaton. Myra is a full member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) and is a registered provider for all major health funds.

Kids Clinic

Although Myra 's clients include men and women from all age groups, her real passion is to treat children. Conditions such as eczema, poor immunity, allergies, tummy problems and constipation respond well to naturopathic treatment and the health of these children can be greatly improved. As a mother of two, Myra knows how difficult it is to gets kids to take medicine so her methods are easy to use and practical. Myra believes the earlier the problem is addressed, the easier it is to treat. Ideally Myra likes to consult with couples before they conceive and to support the pregnancy through to labour. She provides homoeopathic labour kits which can be used later on as part of a first aid kit making them economical and extremely useful. Myra will happily train both Mums and Dads on how to use these remedies. Infants can be safely treated from birth.

Women's Health

A healthy reproductive system is necessary to produce healthy children and Myra is experienced in treating conditions such as amenorrhoea (absence of menstruation), dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and fertility problems.

And then there is menopause!! This is probably the most common women's condition that Myra treats (and the most successfully treated).

You can phone Myra on 9474 4567 if you would like to know whether she can be of help to you. She is available for appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
